Freshmen    Interactive Media Projects

 Project:   Movie box  Cover #2

For our (2) second project in Intro to I.M., it was very similar to the (1) first project but the only difference was that instead of using an already made movie or box cover, we had to come up with our own movie and box cover. For my movie, I developed the plot of my main character going up to space and being stuck there. For my movie box cover, I used a scene in the movie. The scene I used was where the main character was trying to find a way to go back home to Earth, standing around the control panel.

Project: Logo Project

For the (4) fourth project, we had to create our logos to place on our future videos/projects. We had to create (four) rough drafts and choose one (1) out of the four (4) for our final draft. For my final draft, I chose the sunset and waves logo. Afterwards we had to cut out and print our final drafts on shirts.

Project:   Flip book Movie

For our (3) third project in Intro., we made our own flip book movie. Making our own movie, we used the story we came up with for our movie box cover. We had to create enough slides that we thought our movies needed. For the plot, I used  the same one from before. A story about a boy's growth into adulthood, going up to space. Unfortunately, he gets stuck in space because of not having enough fuel to power the rocket back home to Earth. The story ends with him being trapped in space with no communication to Earth. My movie ended up having 200+ slides.

Project: Covers

For this project, we had to use YouTube covers. We had to chose a song and find covers of the song but instead of using the audio of the song, we had to use the audio from the covers. Using the audio from the covers, we had to line it up with the song and complete the whole song just using those audios.

Project: Covers #2

This project was similar to the covers project. Except this time, instead of using the audio from the covers, we used the actual audio from the song. We also had to line up people singing in the covers to the song's audio, almost like lip syncing. This project was fairly harder than the previous one for me because aligning the movement of people's mouth to the audio was difficult. People either sang to slow or would not move their mouth as much.

Project: Photoshop Animation

For this project, we had to create a animation. It was similar to our last animation project but we had to use Adobe Photoshop instead of Adobe Premiere Pro. I would say it was fairly easy but the only difficulty I had was editing specific motions and aligning the audio with the scenes. I had fun doing this project because I knew what I was doing.
